In last few days, we have new visitors at our back garden, two beautiful parrots. We can easily hear them arriving at early-morning making loud, happy squawking sounds.

This time of a year it’s all about celebrations, but for us it’s a double party. One birthday of my beloved husband and one of my dear daughter are both celebrated with four days difference from each other, so we are talking about some intensive productions here…:-)
The birthday of my daughter was all about comics and winter. As a proud member of the hand made nation, naturally we did it all ourselves. The invitations where beautiful hand-drawn (with lots of snowmen and penguins…) and the envelopes we made from an old comic-book.
The marshmallow snowman’s were also a huge success. We made two kinds of activities: one was a short workshop we did on the birthday party and during the second one we used sticks inside cups and gave these to her class mates.
And lastly you can see the preferred way of eating them…;-)

My work is at this moment exhibited in the atelier Oosterbosch in Amsterdam till the 16th of December. After that, from 16 till 18 December it’s gonna be a group exhibition,in which I’m also taking part. The Atelier is a beautiful space in the Jordaan (center) of Amsterdam and I’m completely in love with the hanging plants…:-)

I opened a new online shop!
The first items in my shop are hand printed canvasses framed on a wooden hoop. This serie of sweet Words Of Love made to give and share with your loved ones…:-)
The back-side is covered with unique illustrations from vintage Dutch nature books.
